Auralis: Music Ear Studio is designed as a personal and private ear-training experience. Respecting your privacy is one of the core principles of this application.
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not require you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, photographs, contacts, or location data.
We do not collect, receive, sell, rent, or otherwise process personal information through our own servers.
To provide the features of the App, certain information may be stored locally on your device, including:
This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Removing the App from your device generally removes the locally stored information associated with the App. The App also provides a "Reset Progress" option in Settings, which erases this information immediately.
The App includes an optional Sing-Back exercise, which can listen through the microphone so that you can sing back a note you have heard. This feature is disabled by default and is used only if you explicitly enable it and grant microphone permission.
When Sing-Back is active, audio is analysed on your device in real time solely to detect the pitch of the sound. Audio is never recorded, never written to storage, and never transmitted to us or to any third party.
You may decline microphone access, or revoke it at any time in the iOS Settings app. Sing-Back is the only feature that stops working; every lesson, exercise, chart, and statistic in the App continues to function normally without a microphone.
All sound in the App is generated on your device at the moment of playback. The App does not download audio, and it does not stream, upload, or share any audio content.
The App is designed to work fully offline and does not require an internet connection to function.
An internet connection may be used only when you intentionally open an external webpage, such as this Privacy Policy or a support page.
The App does not use remote servers to store practice results, progress, or any other information created inside the App.
Auralis: Music Ear Studio does not include advertising services.
The App does not use behavioral advertising technologies, cross-app tracking mechanisms, or third-party analytics services.
The App contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. The full curriculum is available from the first launch.
The App does not send push notifications or local notifications and does not request notification permissions.
The App does not intentionally share information with third parties.
If you follow a link to an external website, the operators of that website may process technical information according to their own privacy practices. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of those external services.
The App is not designed to collect personal information from children or from any other users.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or collect personal information, we do not knowingly store personal information relating to children.
We do not operate databases containing users' personal information.
Information created inside the App is stored locally on the device and remains under the user's control.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time if legal requirements change or if future versions of the App introduce new functionality.
Any updates will be reflected by updating the effective date shown above.
